You might look fine on the outside — but internally feel stuck, anxious, disconnected, overwhelmed, or caught in same relationship patterns.

These experiences aren’t random. There is a reason behind the way we think, feel, and react.

When we understand the root, not just the symptom, healing becomes more than temporary relief — it becomes transformation.

ABOUT ME

I became a therapist because I’ve always been deeply curious about why people are the way they are. Why do we repeat certain patterns? Why do some experiences shape us for years? Why do some people heal — while others stay stuck?

Over time, that curiosity became a calling.

Growing up, I witnessed domestic conflict, emotional strain, and periods of instability. There were moments in my own life when I felt lost, behind, or like I wasn’t living up to my potential. I understand what it feels like to question yourself — and to wonder if things will ever change.

But I also know something else:

Change is possible.

Breaking patterns. Rewriting internal narratives. Ending generational cycles. I made a commitment to break the generational patterns in my own life — and that transformation shaped the therapist I am today.

I’m especially passionate about helping normalize mental health within South Asian and marginalized communities, where emotional struggles are often minimized or misunderstood. Seeking support is not weakness — it’s growth.

Therapy, to me, is more than a career. It’s meaningful work. It offers the flexibility and autonomy to practice with integrity, and the deep reward of watching someone reclaim clarity, confidence, and direction in their life.

If you’re ready to understand yourself at a deeper level — and create lasting change — I would be honoured to walk that path with you

HOW THERAPY WORKS WITH ME?

Therapy should do more than help you cope — it should help you understand, change, and grow.

Whether you’re navigating personal struggles, relationship challenges, or family tension, my work focuses on uncovering root causes, building insight, and creating lasting change.

Individual Therapy

Together, we work to uncover the root causes behind your thoughts and behaviors — so you gain clarity, emotional regulation skills, and lasting confidence in yourself.

Couples Therapy

Relationships often reflect deeper attachment patterns and communication habits. I help couples move beyond surface conflict to understand underlying needs, rebuild trust, and strengthen emotional connection — not just resolve arguments, but change the dynamic.

Families carry shared histories, expectations, and unspoken dynamics. I provide a structured space to address tension, improve communication, and break generational patterns — helping families move from conflict toward understanding and connection.

WHY WORK WITH ME?

Effective therapy requires more than conversation — it requires training, insight, and a therapeutic presence you can trust.

Education & Clinical Foundation

My work is grounded in formal training and clinical experience. I hold a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology and have worked with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, trauma, and life transitions.

My approach is informed by evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) — ensuring our work is structured, intentional, and effective.

Experience & Insight

Beyond formal education, my understanding of human behaviour comes from years of observing, supporting, and working closely with individuals in both professional and personal settings.

I have witnessed how generational patterns, cultural expectations, and unresolved experiences shape the way we think, relate, and cope. That perspective allows me to approach therapy with depth, nuance, and cultural sensitivity.

Therapy works best when you feel safe, understood, and respected. Clients often describe me as empathetic, direct, and easy to talk to. I aim to create a space that feels both supportive and grounded — where you can be honest without fear of judgment.

I care deeply about the people I work with, and I approach each session with presence, curiosity, and genuine commitment to your growth.

Personality & Therapeutic Presence

WHAT HAPPENS IF PATTERNS DON'T CHANGE?

Left unaddressed, anxiety, relationship conflict, and unresolved trauma don’t simply disappear — they often deepen.

Unexamined patterns can lead to:

repeated relationship breakdowns, emotional burnout, chronic stress & health issues, distance from loved ones, feeling stuck for years.

Change doesn’t happen by accident.

It happens with intention and support.

You don’t have to wait until things get worse to start feeling better.

The right time to start is before you hit your breaking point.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQS)

What Can I Expect In Our First Session?

The first session is focused on understanding you — your story, what’s been weighing on you, and what you’d like to change. We’ll explore your goals and determine whether working together feels like the right fit. There’s no pressure — just a structured, supportive conversation.

How Long Does Therapy Usually Take?

Therapy is not one-size-fits-all. Some clients benefit from short-term focused work, while others choose longer-term support to address deeper patterns. We’ll collaborate on a pace and plan that fits your needs.

Do You Offer Virtual Sessions, & Where Are You Located?

I offer secure virtual therapy sessions for clients across Ontario. Online therapy allows you to access support from the privacy and comfort of your own space.

What Issues Do You Help With Most?

I work primarily with adults navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, trauma, stress, and personal growth. My approach focuses on uncovering root causes — not just managing symptoms — to create lasting change.

What Are Your Fees, And Do You Accept Insurance?

Session fees are discussed during consultation. Many extended health benefit plans cover psychotherapy services. I provide receipts for insurance reimbursement.

I'm Unsure If Therapy Is Right For Me - What Should I Do?

That’s completely normal. A free 15-minute consultation gives you the opportunity to ask questions, share what’s bringing you here, and see whether working together feels like a good fit — with no obligation.
